VASCO CATARINO SOARES

Vasco Catarino Soares graduated in Clinical Psychology and later completed two post-graduate qualifications: a) Psychological Consultation and Psychotherapy, and b) Clinical Neuropsychology. In the year 2000, he founded Insight Psychology, a renowned establishment offering expert psychological services, where he still actively contributes as a compassionate psychotherapist and skilled neuropsychologist. He served as a professor in the psychology department at ISLA in Leiria and, in 2003, as a university lecturer, he initiated a doctoral program in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Salamanca, Spain. He works as a specialized professor in psychotherapy, having contributed to the training of hundreds of psychotherapists.
Vasco Catarino Soares designed, planned, and implemented programs to recover cognitive functions, such as memory and attention capacity, for patients who are victims of stroke and traumatic brain injuries. He is currently a bestselling author in the brain field. For several years, he has been a frequent presence in the media as an expert in human behavior and neuropsychology. He considers himself a humanist, with his primary interest lying in the brain and its behavioral and emotional manifestations.
